Lagniappe Cinemas is a startup independent video and film production company, established in late 2010. The company is named for the American Gulf Coast practice of lagniappe (lan-YAP), a small “unexpected” gift given as a token of appreciation to a customer, thanking him or her for his/her business. We produce small business-oriented commercials and corporate videos, indie music videos, new media webisodes, no-to-low budget independent films, and social commentary documentaries.
